Integrative Yoga with Sue Hall
blending qigong with slow flow yoga
About me
I’ve been practising yoga for over twenty years, exploring a variety of styles with teachers from around the world. Initially, I was drawn to the physical practice as a way to stay fit and healthy, but my time living in Malaysia shifted everything. There, I discovered the teachings of Shilpa Ghatalia and completed my Yoga Teacher Training with her at Yogshakti - an experience that transformed my practice and remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
The yoga I teach weaves together qigong, spinal-focused flows, yin and restorative yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation - a combination that is both energising and deeply restorative. Breath awareness is key to my teaching, helping to anchor the mind and experience stillness.
I love exploring alternative therapies and am particularly fascinated by the subtle energy body. Practices like qigong and yin in particular support the movement of qi (life-force energy) through the body’s pathways, restoring balance and vitality. I often incorporate acupressure into my yin classes to enhance this effect.
Music is an important part of my classes as are my own blended essential oils. A relaxing head massage ends each session.
My classes are accessible to everyone, with variations to help you practise in a way that feels right for your body. I especially enjoy welcoming newcomers to yoga and hearing how it supports their wellbeing.

My classes
Qigong & Yin Yoga
My Qigong & Yin Yoga class is a space to slow down and turn inward. Qigong’s slow, circular movements help you feel grounded and centred, while yin yoga’s long-held, floor-based poses gently open the body, improving joint mobility, circulation and energy flow. Guided by the breath, it’s a meditative practice that invites you to soften and release.
Mondays 6.15pm - 7.30pm, Sutton Veny Village Hall, BA12 7AP
Wednesdays 4.15pm - 5.30pm, Fane Hall, Corton, BA12 0SZ
Qigong & Restorative Yoga
Qigong - slow fluid standing movements - followed by a restorative yoga practice using props to help you relax into a pose, promoting deep relaxation.
